Southern Area Sales Manager – Automatic Door Systems
Location: Field-Based / Remote (South East / Home Counties)
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 DOE + Uncapped Commission + Company Car
Hours: Monday to Friday

A leading manufacturer of automatic door systems is seeking a Southern Area Sales Manager to join their growing UK sales team. Representing a well-established, technically respected brand, this is a fantastic opportunity for a driven sales professional with industry experience.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for increasing sales across the Southern region, managing existing accounts, and developing new business across a wide range of sectors including healthcare, education, commercial, and industrial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth through existing customers and new business development
  • Identify new routes to market and establish key client relationships
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of the full product range (full training provided)
  • Generate and follow up on leads, producing accurate and timely quotations
  • Attend customer meetings and site visits as required (UK travel with occasional overnight stays)
  • Manage CRM and Outlook diary, maintaining detailed records of activity, quotes, and orders
  • Provide weekly forecast updates and monthly activity reports
  • Achieve agreed sales targets and uphold professional standards at all times

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in technical field sales within the automatic doors or entrance systems industry — this is essential
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach to business development
  • Confident managing the full sales cycle from initial enquiry to installation
  • Full UK driving licence
  • ADSA BS EN 16005 certification is advantageous but not essential (full training provided)
