Job Title: Installation Engineer – Automatic Doors
Location: South East (field-based, covering surrounding areas)
Salary: £15.00 – £18.50 per hour (depending on experience) + benefits
Hours: 40 per week, overtime available

About the Role
TSM Technical is working with a leading name in the door systems industry to recruit an Automatic Door & Shopfront Installation Engineer for the South East region.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking business where you’ll be installing cutting-edge automatic door systems and aluminium shopfronts across commercial and industrial sites. You’ll receive full training on their product range and have the chance to grow your skills further within a supportive, well-established team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Installing automatic door systems and aluminium shopfronts at customer sites and construction projects
- Working independently or as part of a team, liaising with Project Managers and Planners to deliver projects on time
- Ensuring paperwork is completed accurately and promptly using provided systems
- Occasionally working nights or weekends where required
- Delivering work to the highest standards of safety and compliance
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience installing automatic doors and/or aluminium shopfronts
- BS7036 / EN16005 certification (preferred)
- CSCS card
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Positive, enthusiastic approach to work
- NVQ in Specialist Occupations (Doors, Gates, Shutters) – desirable but not essential
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
Pay & Hours
- £15.00 – £18.50 per hour (depending on experience)
- 40 hours per week
- No on-call requirement (installation only)
- Overtime: at 1.5x Monday - Friday
- 1.5x pay for all hours worked on weekends
- Monthly efficiency bonus (team performance based)
