Multi-Skilled Door Engineer – Milton Keynes & Surrounding Areas

Hours: 42.5 hrs/week + Overtime Available
On-call: 1 in 10
Pay: Up to £19/hr

We are seeking a multi-skilled door engineer to join a well-established and respected door systems specialist in Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas. This role is ideal for engineers with experience across both industrial and automatic doors, with additional experience in gates and barriers considered desirable.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer who takes pride in high-quality work and enjoys working on a variety of systems. The role focuses primarily on service and maintenance, with occasional installations.
The Role
As an experienced engineer, you will work independently on:
- Servicing, maintenance, and repairs of industrial and automatic door systems
- Occasional installation work across all door types
- Fault diagnosis and efficient repairs
- Participating in a 1 in 10 on-call rota

What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience with industrial and automatic doors
- Confident in servicing, repairing, and installing: Roller shutters, sectional doors, fast action doors, automatic doors, gates, and barriers (desirable)
- Relevant certifications preferred (CSCS/ECS card, IPAF, PASMA, EN16005, BS703)
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Based in or able to cover Milton Keynes and surrounding areas
- Safety-conscious with excellent customer service skills
