Branch Manager – Manchester (M40)
Salary: £65,000 – £75,000 per year + company car
Hours: Monday – Friday, on-site
About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Branch Manager to lead a busy and well-established branch in Manchester. This is a hands-on role with overall responsibility for operations, sales, HR, and profitability. You’ll report directly to the directors and have the opportunity to make a real impact while driving growth and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all branch operations, including sales, accounts, and field service teams
- Oversee P&L, ensuring profitable contracts and maintaining margins
- Allocate resources effectively, including out-of-hours workforce as needed
- Promote health & safety, quality, and environmental standards across the branch
- Recruit, train, and develop staff while monitoring performance and incentivising teams
- Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion
Experience & Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in a Branch Manager or senior management role, ideally within industrial doors, engineering, or a related sector
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Full UK driving licence
