TSM Technical is working in partnership with a well-established and growing fire and security company to recruit an experienced Fire & Security Engineer. The Role
This is a field-based position involving the installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of a range of security systems. You will work across multiple client sites, ensuring systems are operating effectively and in line with industry standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Installation and commissioning of intruder alarms and dual communication systems
- Servicing and maintenance of security systems
- Fault finding and resolution across various systems
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements
- Providing a high level of customer service on-site
The role operates on a 40-hour working week, with a 1-in-8 call-out rota (door-to-door). Occasional overnight stays may be required, with an allowance provided.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the fire and security or security systems industry
- Strong experience with intruder alarms and dual communication systems
- Proven fault-finding and commissioning skills
- Full UK driving licence
Qualifications (Desirable)
- City & Guilds or NVQ in Electrical or Electronic Security Systems
- ECS/CSCS card
- Relevant manufacturer or FIA training
