Multi-Skilled Automatic & Industrial Door Engineer – Central Scotland
£20 per hour + Overtime | Door-to-door Pay | Up to 34 Days Holiday | Company Van, Fuel Card & Tools Provided
TSM Technical are working with a valued client who, due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, are looking to recruit an experienced Multi-Skilled Automatic & Industrial Door Engineer to join their expanding team.

The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you'll be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault finding, repair and installation of a wide range of automatic and industrial door systems across commercial and industrial sites.
You'll work on a variety of automatic door types including:
- Sliding doors
- Swing doors
- Revolving doors
- Other pedestrian automatic entrance systems
You'll be working on equipment from leading manufacturers including:
- Record
- GEZE
- Dormakaba
- Other leading industry brands
The role is primarily covering Central Scotland, with occasional travel to Northern Scotland and Northern England when required. Some overnight stays may be necessary depending on project location.

- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Door-to-door pay
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience servicing, fault finding and installing automatic and/or industrial door systems.
- Experience working on Record, GEZE, Dormakaba or similar manufacturer equipment.
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
- CSCS Card essential.
- EN16005 certification preferred (training available if required).
- IPAF licence desirable.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel and undertake occasional overnight stays.
- Professional, customer-focused approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
Package & Benefits
- £20 per hour plus enhanced overtime rates.
- Door-to-door pay.
- Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
- Overtime available:
- Time and a half outside core hours.
- Double time on Sundays and between 12:00am-4:00am.
- Company van with reasonable personal use permitted.
- Fuel card, mobile phone, uniform, PPE and power tools provided.
- 29 days holiday, increasing to 34 days with length of service (including bank holidays).
- Ongoing manufacturer training and development.
- No mandatory on-call rota (optional call-out available for engineers looking to increase earnings).
